Best gun by Evans "From Purdeys" .. love those fluted fences and the "spectacles" bouquet-and-scroll engraving. Bushed strikers, excellent screws, tight and strong ejectors. No 2 of a pair and so marked in gold, 28"x2.5" nitro (reproofed) barrels w fresh blacking, R 730/730, L 730/745/730 jug choked. LOP 13 3/4" thru pad, drops 1 5/8" and 2 3/4" with 1/8" cast off. Normal dents and scratches to original wood, short tight crack behind r lockplate otherwise sound. Exquisite early gun, 6.5lbs.
