1st model and 3rd issue .22 short rimfire 7 shot fluted cylinder. Made 1868 To 1881.

An item for the serious Smith collector
90%plus nickle finish. Very Rare short, 2 11/16 " barrel. Address and barrel markings on side of barrel instead of on top of rib. Excellent old ivory grips. Serial number on inside of right grip. Mechanically fine. Locks up nice and tight, bright bore with sharp rifling. Nicely cased with spare regular length barrel of 3" 3/16 but different serial number I don't think the case is factory. I think it might be one made by M.W Robinson, That did custom work for Smith and Wesson
