Description:
50mm / 5CM Krupp cannon, centerfire, breech, loading rifled cannon as made for Siam by Krupp of Germany in approximately 1906. This is a highly collectible cannon in very nice overall shape given its age and history. Has original blued finish on the barrel and tube has not been painted, but retains original finish. Marked on the breech with Siamese Government proofs and “FRIED. KRUPP. A.G./ESSEN”. Brass and steel rear sight with steel front post sight present. Balance bubble in rear sight present but non-functional. Prolong handle included with this lot. These cannon's are very collectible as ATF has removed these cannon's from the NFA registry and they transfer the same as any other C&R item (not a destructive device like other more modern breech loading cannons). Beautiful bore and chamber. Classic German machinework and craftsmanship at its finest. This cannon comes with bullet mold for casting projos, approximately 30 projos, approximately 30 cases. Very well accessorized for shooting or display. Excellent size piece for either display in executive office, den or shooting. Will need to ship common carrier due to size. Could be loaded in the back of pick up when dissassembled. Being sold FOB Plano, TX. Buyer responsible for shipping and insurance, but seller happy to help coordinate for logistics of pick up.
