Very scarce Pre 64 Model 70 caliber offered only during the final year of production (1963). There were slightly over 4,900 ever made, representing less than 1% of total production! Nearly half of those encountered will have 1962 actions such as this one, but all were assembled and sold in 1963. S/N 560*** with matching scribed bolt. 24" barrel with excellent bore. 99% Blue, 98% Varnish with scattered light impressions mostly on the sharp edges. Factory red ventilated pad as issued on all of this caliber. A beautiful representative that would be difficult to improve upon.
