On Hold Sale Pending. US Springfield Model 1884 45-70 caliber trapdoor army rifle. Full length barrel has both front and correct Buffington rear sights. The breach block is marked US Model 1884. The Lock is marked US Springfield and functions as it should. All metal parts have much of there blue finnish turning brown. The US marked but plate is pitted. The full 2 band dark walnut stock has several tight cracks (see photos) which were repaired by a previous owner. The bore looks pretty good. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
