This is the 1st model Luftwaffe dagger with chain, The later version with aluminum used on the scabbard not nickel, 12 inch blade with
CARL EICKHORN / Solingen as the maker,The blade has overall bright original finish but does exhibit a few minor scratches and blemishes,
handle is in good shape with three blemishes on the leather, the wire is very good, Scabbard is in just good shape,leather has cracks in it with four blemishes on it, Aluminum has scratches on it, the two small screws on the Chape are missing, the chain hanger is good condition.
