Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a minty and beautiful Smith & Wesson Model 41 .22 caliber semi-auto target pistol complete with it's original box, an extra set of custom grips, and everything it shipped from the factory with.  The Smith & Wesson Model 41 was S&W's ultimate regular-production semi-automatic .22 caliber target pistol.  It was built to compete with the very best offerings from anyone in the United States as well as the European makes.  First introduced in 1957, the Model 41 was a great success for S&W and remained in production for 40 years until being discontinued in 1997.  In the years since regular production was stopped, Smith & Wesson has re-introduced special versions of the Model 41 at various times in limited production runs through S&W's Performance Center.  This particular example was manufactured in 1985 and is in mint condition inside and out.  If it has had more than 5 or ten rounds fired thru it since leaving the factory we would be very surprised, as it could pass for being unfired since the factory test-firing.  It features a beautiful factory gloss blue finish, a 5.5" inch barrel, factory adjustable target sights, a ride-side mounted thumb safety and slide stop, a factory tuned target trigger, a 10-round detachable single-stack magazine, and checkered Walnut target grips.  The original owner purchased a pair of laminated hardwood custom grips for it that are pictured on the gun in all but the last three pictures, which show the original factory grips mounted on the gun.  The original factory blue finish on this Smith rates 99%, and you will have to look extremely hard to find anything worthy of the 1% deduction.  All of the pins and screws in the pistol are in perfect condition, and all of the factory markings are crisp and deep.  The bore in the 5.5" inch barrel is mirror-bright and pristine, and the rifling still looks razor sharp with no visible imperfections or wear whatsoever.  Both the custom and factory grips are also in perfect like-new condition, free from any wear, chips, cracks, repairs, or damage of any kind.  The checkering is perfect on both sets, and both sets fit the gun perfectly with no wiggle.  The action on this Model 41 is smooth, slick, and precise.  All of the controls are like-new and crisp, and everything works 100% like-new.  The original factory magazine is in excellent condition like the gun itself, with perfect feed lips and a stout follower spring.  The blue finish on the magazine rates 98%, with only a touch of finish wear where metal to metal contact occurs when the magazine is inserted and removed from the pistol.  This beautiful Model 41 has not even begun to be broken-in yet and still has 99% of it's service life still intact.  As mentioned earlier, this Model 41 is as complete as they get with the original factory box with the factory serial-numbered end-label intact, the cardboard box insert, all of the paperwork including the manual, warranty card, and advertisement pamphlets, the factory tool kit/cleaning kit, the factory chamber flag, and even the original anti-rust shipping paper.  Both the original set of grips and the custom laminated grips come with the gun.  If you have been looking for a vintage S&W Model 41 .22 LR pistol in mint condition for your collection here is your chance to get one of the best 5.5" inch guns we have had in a while.  It would be impossible to upgrade from this minty and handsome original in ANY respect.       SOLD Handgun Caliber: .22 Long Rifle Manufacturer: Smith & Wesson Model: Model 41 Serial Number: TAF4661 Barrel Length: 5.5" Inches Condition: Minty Metal Condition: Mint Wood Condition: Mint Bore Condition: Mint Action: Semi-Auto Finish: Gloss Blue Sights: Target-Style Adjustable Iron Sights Manufacture Date: 1985 Extras: w/ Original Box, Owner's Manual, Tool/Cleaning Kit, Extra Custom Grips, Pamphlets, Chamber Flag, Box Insert, & Anti-Rust Paper
