Description:
Rock Island Arsenal 03 Springfield custom sporting rifle is in original 30-06 caliber. All metal is in beautifully refinished condition, but the stock shows a little shop wear. The bolt is altered for low scope mounting and safety. The highly figured maple stock has a Monte Carlo for scope mounting. A Redfield scope mount base has been installed. Custom features also include modification of the magazine with a hinged easy opening. This gun was made up on a Rock Island high number (409574) action which are considered as among the best. I have not shot this it but it appears to be in good serviceable condition.
