Investment grade Winchester 70 in ultra rare 300 Savage caliber! S/N 178*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1951. This is the rarest caliber of all Model 70s with only 362 produced between 1947-1954. This beautiful and rare rifle is in near mint condition throughout showing 99% original finishes with just a few scattered and superficial handling marks. The wood is quite nice with a small bit of grain figure here and there and a tendency toward the dark honey color preferred by many. 24" Standard weight Barrel. The bore is excellent and all mechanical functions are smooth and proper as one would expect.
