Impeccable example of this ultra scarce 7MM caliber and configuration. SN 115*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1949. 99% original Blue and Varnish by any reasonable standard. Bore and mechanics are of course flawless. 24" standard weight barrel. All correct SG components are present including deluxe stock, properly stamped floor plate, robust detachable swivels, a 255 height Redfield gold bead front sight, etc. There is a small "3" stamped on the magazine follower spring. Rifles made in this rare 7 MM Mauser caliber represent only 1/4 of 1% of all Model 70 production! Super Grade rifles made in 7MM represent dramatically fewer than that! This would be a stunning addition and perhaps the centerpiece of even the most advanced Model 70 collection.
