Description:
1969 Colt Detective Special ,Factory Nickel gun in box with owners papers. Gun appears to be New Old Stock and unfired since factory. Brilliant Nickel finish , full checkered round grips with Colt Ramparts medallions. Box wears the white nickel factory sticker with warranty card and other Colt inserts in box. Gun came from an estate collection out of central Iowa still wrapped tight in its plastic packing bag in box. Finish remains at 98% or better with packing grease still present. We wiped it clean for these photos. Colt Archives letter confirms factory Nickel gun. Shipped Oct. 1969 to Kidwells Hardware, Wichita KS. A great package of a rare nickel Detective Special second issue gun with factory letter.
