Investment grade Winchester 70 African Super Grade in ultra rare 458 Win. Mag. Only 1226 ever made! S/N 409*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1957. 99% Blue and Varnish. 25" rust blued barrel. All correct and unique "African" features are present including jeweled action components, specialized rear sight, Lyman 37FA silver bead front sight (used only on this substyle) 1 1/2" detachable swivels, SG stamped floorplate, etc. All 458s had stock cross bolts in 3 different styles. This rifle has the double flush mounted type. Original factory installed solid red pad is excellent, soft, and unbulged at heel. An extraordinary rifle that would be nearly impossible to upgrade!
