Marlin 1894 Century Limited Anniversary 44-40. Excellent condition and never to be made again! Marlin made 2500 of these hand engraved by Bottega Giovanelly. They were then color case hardenmed by Turnbull. If you had a copy made today you would be spending twice as much and not be made and initialed by JM. Full octagon barrel. Incredable wood. Brass but plate. I doubt that with the take over of Marlin by Ruger that a color case hardned receiver will ever be made by them. Shipping in a hard case $79.00 insured.
