Darn! What can you say about this Fabulous and at the same time frightening piece of Turkish walnut. Exhibition in discribing this blank would be a down grade. This blank cut in the late 80's has it all. Fiddle, feather, marble, burl, KNOTS, DEFECTS OF UNKNOWN ORIGINS ,BARK POCKETS and what color.
This magnificent piece of walnut is large enough for a rile stock ( a defect free one, NO ) Big enough for maybe a defect free butstock and 2 not so perfect forearms and many pistol grips, plus dozens of knife scales. Seriously, this is an incredible piece of Turkish for someone that is willing to take some risk and accept some flaws. PRICE REDUCED!
