Description:
Antique 1899 Krag carbine with 22 inch barrel. This gun was made in 1902. The metal and wood are in good condition and have not been refinished. Someone added rifle slings to this gun: The slings match the gun's patina finish. However, I don't know if the military put slings on Krag rifles, so I want to make potential buyers aware of this. The barrel is in shootable condition with visible sharp rifling. There is pitting on and between the lands. There are slight dings and scratches on the stock, but no cracks or anything requiring repair or restoration work. Overall, this gun is a very good example of the 30-40 Krag carbine.
