Description:
This Winchester U.S. Model of 1917 is a right hand bolt action U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Sprg. Cal. It has a 26 inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and a folding sliding adjustable ladder rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood semi-pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood with finger grooves. Serial Number 97471 (1917). The barrel is stamped with HS, the flaming arsenal bomb and P. The wood on top of the forearm does not appear original. .30-06 Springfield
