Description: Serial #32777, .455/.476/.45 Long, 5 ½" octagon barrel with a very good, bright bore that has spots of darker freckling and pitting along its length. This is a handsome revolver, with “ARMY & NAVY CSL / EXPRESS" retailer marking on the topstrap, and the Webley “Winged Bullet" on the left side of the frame. The metal retains 85-90% of the original bright nickel finish, with some very mild flaking in spots, and some thin brown freckling throughout. The cylinder is matching numbered, and the cylinder pin latch still has bright fire blue remaining. The checkered walnut bird’s head grips are in very good shape with minor handling marks and blemishes throughout, and a single large bruise on the left grip panel. This very revolver is illustrated on pg. 241 of "Webley Solid Frame Revolvers - Models RIC, MP, and No. 5" by Black, Davis, and Michaud; (2010). It is a fine-near excellent example of a solid frame Webley that is very seldom seen in America.
