Description:
Batch #56, .41 RF, 3" barrels with fine, bright bores with traces of freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome, late production batch-numbered pistol with two-line barrel address on the rib (ca. 1888). The metal retains 98-99% of the original nickel finish with the hammer, latch, and spur trigger having a dark blue-black patina with silvering along the edges and projections. The pistol has genuine mother-of-pearl grips that are in excellent shape overall, and the pistol locks up firmly without any lateral play in the hinge.
