Description:
SOLD pending receipt of funds  ******************   Smith & Wesson Model 66-2 Combat Magnum .357 magnum stainless steel finish 2.5" barrel.  Sometimes referred to as the "snubnose version".  "K" frame, 6 shot, double action, black rubber Pachmayr Presentation/Compac grips, round butt.  White outline on blued adjustable rear sight.  Red ramp front sight.  Standard trigger with smooth front face.  Standard 3/8″ wide hammer spur with generous checkering.  SN = 238K983.  Manufactured between 1970 and 2004.  This gun was made in 1982.  Does not have a pinned barrel.  Does not have a recessed cylinder face.

Essentially a Model 19 in stainless steel. The blued steel Model 19 had already proven itself as a slick, attractive, reliable, accurate double action six-shot revolver and the 66 put all of that goodness into a stainless steel package.  The last 66s made before they were discontinued in 2004 were marked “66-6.”  There was a ten-year gap in production from 2004-2014.  S&W brought it back as the model 66-8 in 2014 and it now retails for a whopping $894 (MSRP).

Includes Bianchi brown basketweave leather holster model # 5BH .38/.357 S&W.
