Payment Types Accepted: Description: On Hold Sale Pending Early US Springfield Model 1816 Springfield 69 caliber formerly a flintlock converted to percussion in the 1850's. The functioning lock is marked US Springfield and dated 1817. The full 3 band walnut stock is in very good condition with a cartouche on the left flat. The full length 42 inch barrel has a grey brown color with pitting at the nipple breach area. This early 1817 dated musket is in overall very good condition and is complete with sling swivels and original ramrod. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
