On Hold Sale Pending Antique Flintlock trade gun from the 1700 or1800's often referred to as the London fusil. The California I purchased it from stated it had come from Reservation in Washington state. The flintlock mechanism has a strong mainspring and functions fine the lock plate is marked London. The long rifle rifle is 66" long with a 50" barrel. The smooth bore part octagon part round barrel has British proof markings and the number 22 near the breach, which I think means 62 caliber. The very dark full length wood stock is good condition. All metal parts are a very dark brown to black in color. The trigger gaurd loop is large. A very interesting rare old trade gun.
