Mint condition with no holster wear. Some handling marks on the grip.
This revolver was manufactured in 1972, very early in theThird Series. Features a Factory Installed Hammer Shroud. This was Colt's answer to the S&W Model 49 Body Guard. The hammer is concealed but the hammer can still be cocked single action.
Third Series Detective Specials were manufactured from 1972 to 1986 in .38 Special only. TheThird Series introduced the full shrouded ejector rod.
