French smooth bore, coach gun with a 12"" two-stage smoothbore barrel, made circa 1750. Bore diameter is 1.8 inches. There is a makers mark ""GM"" between the frizzen spring. The mounts and trigger guard are brass. The foreend is a old replacement. The ramrod is original. Has a horntip and a jag for extracting. Most coach guns are English and this French model is uncommon. Action works correctly. Overall very good condition.
