Designed for conceal carry, the P365 boasted a large mag capacity of 10 rounds in a very small package when it was first introduced. It was quickly followed by the slightly larger P365XL,and the compromise model, the P365X. It’s interesting to compare these three to Walther’s PP series of pistols, which were revolutionary pistol at the time of their introduction. Although there are different reasons behind each model’s creation, and the order of release is different, each Sig pistol has a corresponding model among the Walther pistols. For example, the P365XL is the largest pistol of the three and has a 12 round magazine. This compares to the Walther PP. The P365 is smaller and has a 10 round capacity, making it similar to the PPK. The P365X shares similarities with the PPK/S model, in that it is a combination of the two previous models. It utilizes the slide of the P365 on a modified P365XL frame with the associated 12 round magazine. The PPK/S was the same way, using a PP frame and a PPK slide. At the end of the day, history tends to repeat itself. The P365X shown here is previously owned, but has seen little use. The barrel does not even exhibit much if any finish wear from cycling. The bore is very clean. The Romeo Zero is a special, compact red dot optic designed to fit the P365 series pistols with rounded edges to prevent snagging. It operates using the Motion Activated Illumination System (or MOTAC) that powers up when it senses motion and powers down when it does not. There are 8 user-configurable daytime illumination levels. It also has a built-in rear sight though it is a bit short. This pistol comes with the original box, two 12-round mags, a spare battery, and a Blackhawk holster. The holster is the hard shell type and is intended for use with both the P365XL and the P365X.
