#495 Perugini & Visini Side Lock ejector 9.3X74R
An early rifle (late 1970’s) with 24” barrel, perfect bores and chambers, ¼ rib with one standing rear sight and claw mount . Blacking is 95% condition. Weight with the Leupold 1.5 to 5 is 8 Lbs. 13 Oz , 8 Lbs. without the scope. Action and H&H type side locks have 80% coverage of tight and beautifully executed scrolls and roses, signed by A. Orlandi. Purdey flat bolt with plenty of reserve, manual safety and a front set trigger. Breech is tight, ejectors are strong and timed. The rifle shoots very well with RWS 285 gr T Mantel producing 1 1/2 “ groups at 55 yards with impact on the same horizontal plane and on respective side. The stock is solid with a 14 ¾” LOP over a ½” rubber pad. It shows some handling marks; both the finish and the checkering are in 90 % plus original condition. A lot of rifle for the money.
