Rare Marlin-Ballard No. 5 Pacific Rifle. 32" heavy octagon barrel in 40-85 caliber. The rifle is missing it's ramrod and the rear set trigger. Action still functions. Although the lever droops, it still operates the action nicely. Serial number is 19,806. Original and correct front and rear sights. Rear buttstock is a homemade replacement. Correct matching number buttplate. I will rate the bore a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10, it may even clean up better. This is just a cool used Buffalo gun from out west and I wish it could talk. Condition isn't the best but still a very rare rifle in a rare caliber. Please feel free to ask questions. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps.
