Original and excellent 1874 Sharps sporting rifle. 40 caliber with 30 inch barrel. One of 10 Sporting Rifles shipped to Kittredge firm,
Cincinnati, Ohio on August 29, 1876. The barrel on this rife is original but is listed as half-octagon on the letter.
The bore is excellent and the 80 year old owner claims to has dies and brass (if he can find them).
The letter describes the rifle in detail, just missing the barrel error. $15000 includes insured shipping. Lengthy layaway available.
