Description:
Here is a gun that fought Apaches, Comanches and Comancheros in Texas true history.( ANSWORTH ) four (digit serial number) Now the photos don't look as good as the gun. ( In John Kopec letter this is what he said where someone put on the bottom of strap,) ( The barrel has been flating not muck at all ) ( The Bird Eye ejecter looks as good as factory ) The finish is smooth. Action works good very tight , Hammer has all clicks, Cylinder is tight this is still a 100% working gun I just will not remove the cylinder pin.  If you every wanted a real gun from Texas you could not get a better one. Here is a 1874 Colt Cavalry revolver that was by John Kopec letter this gun was most likey had been issued to The Fourth Cavalry during the Second Quater of 1874 from "San Antonio Arsenal . During this period The Fourth Cavalry was station throught the various TEXAS forts. I live in Texas and bought it in Texas must be a Texas gun from 1874 till today. This gun was recalled 1883 and in 1898 to be made into Artillery revolvers. This revolver , for some reason escaped this recall, This could been Lost, Stolen (Deserter) or captured by Hostile Indians. The finish of this revolver remains a natural Dark-Brown patina througout.   Gun comes a 1900's holster. Please read the letter and if you have any question please call me Gerald 214-457-001    WILL TAKE PART TRADE
