LUDWIG LOEWE (Berlin, Germany) Model 1891 Mauser made for Argentine contract. Top of receiver: MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891, MANUFACTURA LOEWE, BERLIN. NO CREST! Both stock and bluing in excellent condition, original butt plate, original leather sling and swivels. The bolt and action are very clean, crisp and smooth, 24" barrel, adjustable front sight, rear elevator sight, 7.65X53MM caliber. I don't know the identity of the 10 insignias and cartouches. The 5 matching serial numbers, P8572, are on bottom of magazine, bolt, barrel, frame and stock. The bore is very good but cloudy. This is a very nice rifle.
