Here is a seldom encountered Remington 12 ga.Trench / Riot shotgun from WWII This is the iconic Remington model 11. The serial number places this piece squarely in the heat of WWII. The Remington model 11 serial numbers reached 499,999 on August 1, 1943, which would place this serial number (464xxx) in the timeframe of 1941-42. The receiver, stock, and barrel retain all matching serial numbers. The stock bears the appropriate cartouche. The overall condition is excellent, and the receiver and barrel bear the ordnance bomb and U.S. markings and the barrel correctly bears the initials REP (Remington English Proof). Just a great piece of WWII history and as they say if this piece could only talk! In order to complete the transaction, we will need a copy of your FFL or C&R for shipping purposes.
