Colt 1878 Double Action Model 44-40 Caliber Center Fire revolver Manufactured in 1892 in Hartford, Connecticut 6 shot with a 7½ inch barrel. This is in 85%+ nickel gun with fire blue on hammer a trigger. One line barrel address, with Colt Frontier Six Shooter on the side, and a rampant horse in a circle on the frame. Comes with original Colt two piece hard rubber grips. Gun has a good bore and in excellent working condition. This gun comes with a factory letter shipped to Colt's Patent Fire-Arms MFG. Company San Francisco, California on July 1892.
