In this listing we are pleased to offer a Standard Products M1 Carbine. This little rifle is all original... It has the original front barrel band, it has not been swapped out for a bayonet lug. It has the correct push button saftey, not the later flip style and it has the original style flip sight, not the adjustable one. The Standard Product M1 Carbine was produced from April of 1943 to April of 1944 with a few more being produced in July of 1944. This is one of the more rare produced M1 Carbines of the World War 2 era with a a total of 247, 160 being manufactured. The total manufactured M1 Carbines was 6.5 milion. This rifle features an Underwood Barrel which is also correct because Standard Product only produced 4 parts inhouse and the barrel was not one of them. The barrel has a bright and crisp bore. The overall condition of the rifle is excellent in all original condition. The rilfle comes complete with a Saginaw produced magazine and the sling and oiler.
