Description: Browning Superposed Pigeon 28ga - 26” - Beautiful Blonde French Walnut - "RKLT" Round Knob Long Tang - ca. 1966 - 99% Condition - "Y" Lever Tang - One of the last RKLT Pigeons made - Tight Like New - Magnificently Beautiful - there is little evidence of field use - Gray Finish, Wood and Bluing are in remarkable condition.  Further Notes: 1.  This shotgun retailed for $575 in 1966 and it was the final year in which Browning offered the "Y" Tang as per page 252 of Ned Schwing's Browning Superposed Book (Latest Leatherback Edition) 2.  Stamped **$ - **$ for Skeet/Skeet but the micrometer reads .007/.007 which is typical for any Browning Shotgun.  3.  There were 6 special order Pigeon Grade guns made in 1966 and 49 Pigeon Grade hunting configuration guns made as per page 458 in the book 4.   As we all know, these guns in 28ga with all of the attributes that make them a truly high grade collectible shotgun are getting harder and harder to come by.   ***see below for specs*** Quillen-Worfe Fine Gun Collection & Consignments *****Please read prior to making a purchase*****: This is supposed to be fun – so smile!
