Description:
Well made boxlock rifle made in 8x57cal with full checkered long splinter forend with engraved Deely release, scalled boxlock action with carved sideclips. Made with double triggers, Greener Crossbolt, extractors, ball grip buttstock with cheekpiece, and original checkered horn buttplate. Large and well carved horn trigger guard. Action is lightly scroll engraved. Mounted with a 1" claw mounted scope. Make name and barrel address gold inlaid on top rib. The chamber size measures .318 and this gun is a "J" bore. Absolutely knock out European walnut stocks with great grain pattern!
The gun remains in excellent overall condition. Barrels retain nearly all of an ancient restored blue. Action has toned gray, engraving is still crisp. Stocks are sound and retain nearly all of an older professionally restored finish. Checkering is crisp. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Optics are clear. Scope is in excellent shape.
