SALE PENDING on this Remington Model 81 The Woodsmaster in .300 Sav. Caliber.This rifle would make a great Hunter or Shooter and would not be considered a Collector Firearm as the left side receiver was drilled for a scope and or peep sight. The extra holes have been plugged with filler screws.There are a few small dents on the bottom of the magazine.The remainder of the rifle is quite nice with blue rated at 92%.The wood is also quite nice with one small chip 1/4" on the left side rear stock at the butt plate. I rate the wood at 92% also.The front and rear sights are factory with elevator missing on the rear sight. The butt plate is factory metal checkered with Remington name.The bore is mirror bright with great rifling. The action is crisp and all appears to function fine including the safety and bolt release. I will ship this rifle to a C&R or FFL holder and SHIPPING IS INCLUDED with the sale price.I will offer a 3-Day inspection on this rifle from the time the package is delivered to the Dealers address.The buyer pays return shipping.
