PRICE LOWERED! SAKO L579 in .243 Win. First year of production and built in 1960. 23" barrel with perfect rifling, 99+% high polish blue on all the metal. Triggerguard floor plate release. It weighs 7 lb. 9 oz. as shown. Matte finish SAKO 1" scope rings holding a Konus 3-9 x 40mm scope. Original stock with a 13 3/4" pull to a hard plastic SAKO buttplate.. Cheekpiece and generous cut checkering on a nice European Walnut stock. The stock shows some handling marks along with a few safe dings but overall quite nice and shows well. Rear edge of the cheekpiece rubbed so check the photos, please.This is a very nice example of an early SAKO and will enhance any collection as well as being an exlcellent hunting cartridge.
