FINAL PRICE REDUCTION! just about ready to turn into a short/stiff 220 AI truck gun. Local estate recently. A carbine modifacation of a Steyr Mauser Mdl 1912-61. This fellow was a Navy vet and had several short bbld military rifles. The bbl is 23' long and has a factory crown, not hacksaw,, very well done Non match #s with a very clean bore and strong rifiling. Tight bore, my old mich says .298 -.301. Research tells me the -61 indicates a 308 conversion. I read '03 surplus Spingfield bbls were used. Cut down the '06 chamber, rethreaded and shortened in 1961 hence the perfect bore, dunno. PLEASE per pics and email with any questions. Serious offer considered. 40.00 S&H to the lower 48 to the FFL of your choice , others higher.
