The Mauser HSc is a 7.65mm pistol introduced in Nazi Germany during World War II and manufactured until 1977. The designation HSc stood for Hahn Selbstspanner ("self-cocking hammer") Pistole, third and final design "C". It has a semi-exposed hammer, double-action trigger, and a single-column magazine. The Mauser HSc was originally intended as a commercial pistol, but quickly gained military acceptance. It competed with the contemporary German Walther PPK and PP and Sauer 38H for police and military use. It was procured initially by the navy (Kriegsmarine) soon followed by the Army and police. HSc pistols used by the Luftwaffe or Waffen-SS were procured from Army and police stocks. It has a sleek design that is quite small but provides a nice full grip. The take down is very simple and clever, with the latch hidden inside the front of the trigger guard. The pistol bears the German proof marks “Eagle/N” on the right side of the trigger guard and “Eagle/WaA135 left of the trigger guard. The left side of the slide bears the “MAUSER” makers mark as well as “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF a.N./MOD. HSC KAL 7.65mm”. The overall condition is very good. Excellent action. Nickel finish. Bright bore. Good grips (the left grip is missing a chip on the top near the trigger). Sharp markings. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-1/4 inches. Caliber: 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee.
