An Early And Very Scarce U.S. Civil War Military Issued Percussion Sharps New Model 1859 Rifle With A 36 Inch Barrel In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #37,756, all matching numbers. All original and complete including the bayonet lug. Only 600 made of this type. The scarce rifle has fine metal, with crisp markings, and edges. All of the metal on the rifle has an even and natural darkened patina throughout it. The wood on the gun is fine throughout with very nice edges. The rifle has a fine bore and action. These 36 inch Sharps New Model Rifles Are Very Difficult To Find Especially In This Very Nice Untouched Condition!
