Manufactured from 1944-1946 for the US Marine Corps, the Reising Model 65 is a blowback operated semi-automatic rifle designed to emulate the weight and sight picture of the U.S. M1 Garand Rifle and was used by the United States Marine Corps as a training weapon. This example has a winged blade front sight and Redfield peep micrometer adjustable rear sight. It has the Worcester address on the barrel. This rifle has much of the original finish with some spotting and handling marks. The stock is in great condition, with some mild dings and a stable hairline crack at the tip of the stock. The rifle is excellent mechanically and includes one standard 10-round magazine. All items are also available for sale in our brick & mortar store and are subject to prior sale. Shipping We ship firearms via UPS. They must be sent to an FFL. Hand guns must travel via Air, whilst long guns and other items can go via Ground. Non-firearm accessories, such as magazines, can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at the customer's request. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions. If paying by credit card, store policy is to ship to the billing address of the card. If paying by Money Order, we can ship to wherever it's legal. The exception is, obviously, serialized items.
