Im told these were converted from caliber 455 to 45 ACP during WW2. Im not sure of the history but I can see that it was arsenal done and each of the cylinders were proofed. Lots of other Brit ( I think) markings on the gun. This classic revolver is in its original condition, and still functions nicely. It will shoot both 45 auto Rimmed and 45 ACP with the use of moon clips. if you have any questions, let me know. Must ship to an FFL. Credit cards add the 3% convenience fee.
