Description:
A rare factory original nickel plated Colt Police Positive Special built in 1924, with 6" bbl, in .38 Special. Colt Police Positive Special revolvers were popular personal sidearms to all sorts from detectives to debutantes on whichever side of the law they might prefer. However, the impressive combination of factory nickel finish with 6" barrel is quite scarce, and this one is in exceptional original condition. CONDITION: All metal surfaces retain 85% strong factory original nickel plated finish with a dull area on the right side of the frame and nickel aging. As one would expect all markings and edges are sharp. The bore and mechanical functions are excellent. This Colt shows only slight evidence of being fired.
