Description:
This is an original Model1864 musket cartridge box in sound condition with both original cartridge tins. All seams and stitching and buckles are intact, closing strap also intact and sound. Straps on the back are also intact and in good condition. Inside flap is also all intact and in good condition. The outside finish on the cartridge box is crackled. There is a marker mark on the back of the cartridge box in the center S.H.YOUNG / NEWARK N.J. The box has an inspectors mark in the lower left corner of the outside flat. Cartridge tins are in very good condition.
