Description:
Serial #211903, 16 Ga., 26" barrels choked Full and Modified, with excellent, bright bores. This is a 1925-made gun that has retained 90-95% of the original blue on the undented barrels with some pale silvering at the muzzles, and splotches of freckled gray fading at the breech on both sides. The frame retains 50-60% of the original color case-hardening, with the balance turned to pale pewter gray where the colors have worn over the years, and there is a commensurate amount of the original bright blue remaining on the trigger guard. The walnut pistol grip buttstock and forend have minor handling marks and small surface blemishes scattered about the original varnish finish, and some mild flattening of the checkering points. The stock has a 14 1/8" length of pull to the original grooved buttplate, and drops of 1 3/4" and 2 7/8" respectively. The lock-up is tight and the lever rests a bit right of center. This is a handsome Parker Trojan that was lightly used, and retains quite a lot of the original finish with great mechanics. It is a very nice gun and rates very fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
