We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. The Cimarron Evil Roy Competition revolver has features favored by SASS World Champion shooter Gene “Evil Roy” Pearcey, for whom the revolver is also named. What sets the Evil Roy apart from the typical single-action revolver are the wide square-notch rear sight, wide front sight, slim checkered grips for a better fit in the hand, and an action that is tuned by Cimarrons’ professional gunsmiths. The competition trigger is mad in the USA while the trigger and bolt springs are lighter and smoother than the standard SAA springs, resulting in a crisp, no-creep trigger pull. Each Evil Roy six-gun has the real Evil Roy’s SASS signature roll engraved on the barrel. This new-in-the-box example is the blued, 4-3/4” barrel version chambered for the legendary .45 Colt, the cartridge most associated with the Peacemaker having been chambered for that round more often than the others. In total, between the standard, Bisley, and Flat-Top Target versions of the First Generation (1873-1940), up to 158,884 were chambered for the .45 Colt compared to 71,392 for the .44-40 Winchester round. One simple reason for the .45 Colt's popularity back in the Old West was its stopping power. It was well suited as a self-defense round. Today, the .45 Colt is still chambered in SAA replicas such as the Evil Roy shown here due to its popularity with the Cowboy Action shooting groups, particularly the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS).
