Rare W.W. Marston Breech-Loading Single Shot Pistol. Serial number 195 (matching on frame / barrel). 36 caliber with 5 7/8" part round part octagon barrel. Nice bore. Action functions nicely. Nice grips, small chip on inside of left grip. Elaborate engraving on the left side of the receiver. Pinprick minute pitting on metal parts. Brass frame and engraving are in very good condition. Barrel markings are: WW Marston New York Patented 1850 Cast Steel. All in all a very nice rare and seldom seen Marston Pistol that traditionally is associated with the Civil War. Estimated that less than 200 Brass frame SS Marston's we're produced. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps. Please feel free to ask questions.
