SOLD pending receipt of funds ********************** Smith & Wesson Model 14-3 (K-38 Target Masterpiece) .38 S&W special caliber revolver, double action, 6 inch barrel, "K" frame, 6 shot, pinned barrel, blue finish, factory checkered target wood grips, square butt, black ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, target hammer, target groved trigger.
Originally known as the K38 Target Masterpiece when it was introduced in 1947. In 1957, it was renamed Model 14 when all Smith & Wesson revolvers were given numerical model numbers. SN = 5K24358. This gun was built in 1973. Designed to be a bulls eye target gun, it was carried by the Los Angeles Police Department in the 1960s and early 1970s.
Overall good condition. Minor handling marks on bottom of the wood grips (see photo). Small mark on cylinder drag line next to one of the cylinder stop notches (see photo). Minor bluing loss at muzzle and one spot on left side of barrel. Pitting starting on trigger guard.
Shipping to your FFL only. Inspection must be done on the premises of the receiving FFL only. Do not remove firearm from receiving FFL before inspection is completed and firearm is accepted. We provide a 3 day window to complete reasonable inspection. Inspection starts on date of delivery to receiving FFL. Do not disassemble. If you are unsatisfied, do not complete transfer. Promptly return item using original packaging. We do not refund shipping cost from the seller to the buyer. We also do not reimburse return shipping cost. Add shipping cost of $35.
