Description:
Original 26 inch full octagon barrel chambered in the powerful 45-90 caliber. Full length magazine tube. Original sights include a German silver blade front and a sporting rear. Bore could use a good cleaning but does have scattered light pits. Original wood in about good condition with numerous mars and dings. With an age old stress crack coming back from the upper tang which is tight. Overall metal has turned a plum/gray patina coloration with traces of barrel blue in the protected area. Sharp corners to the octagons. Not a bad old1886 in a hard to find caliber.
