Description:
Savage model 99R in the hard to find 250-3000 Savage. Built in 1955, this rifle is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting or tang sight mounting. Other features include a lever safety, cartridge counter,hand checkered walnut stock and forend, jeweled bolt,and steel buttplate. The 24" barrel has a mint bore. The rifle has a unique Bushnell Scopechief 3x9 scope with a dual reticle that has crosshairs and a pop up European style post.The rifle is in excellent condiiton retaining 98% of the original wood and blue finishes. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. This is a classic 99 in a great caliber for deer or antelope. C&R eligible.
