Midas Three Gauge Set.
20, 28 & .410
Stunning example of early Sixties art and craftsmanship. Made in 1961, this rare 20 gauge Midas with additional 28 gauge and .410 barrels. Field chokes on 28 inch barrels on all gauges, all choked improved cylinder and full as confirmed by the factory letter. Cased in the original SXX case, the set includes the factory manual. In near-new condition, showing only very minor handling marks. Gold trigger shows some aging flecks.
Made on Special Order in 1961, the factory letter details the features of this rare and unusual set. It is a round knob, long-tang Midas with an uninscribed gold oval nameplate.
This unique set was the crown jewel in the personal collection of a major Southern California Browning collector-dealer.
